Meet our Founder + CEO, Corinna ✨
Before Corinna was the Queen of Aura photography, she was, and continues to be, a professional soul portrait photographer. You can swoon over her beautiful work @rememberyourvoice.
Corinna says this often, in gratitude to the practice, that photography saved her life.
She was 20 years old when she took her first photography class after the recommendation of a total stranger on a train.
Her mom had passed earlier that year, and she found herself on auto pilot, going through the motions of life but without joy, without dreaming.
Her creative muse has always been in people, slowing down to see them, and witnessing them in their uniqueness. In her early days, she roamed the streets asking total strangers if she could take their portrait. She was shy and terrified of people, but photography gave her permission to connect. It made her feel less alone in her story, and hopeful that healing was possible.
Over the years her photography business has morphed into many things, people and connection at the center.
When she stumbled upon aura photography, spirit has never spoken so loudly to her- and she bought her first aura camera soon after.
She fell in love with how playfully aura photography allows us to meet ourselves, acting as a beautiful playground for others to experience themselves in a new way.
As she often says, we are all tender beings who just want to be seen and loved by one another. If you’ve ever had an aura photo and reading by Ignite your Aura, you likely understand the sweet ways in which this experience allows one to feel seen.
Corinna oversees all the things here at IYA and manages our incredible team of over 10+ team members.
She is looking forward to a magical summer full of aura photo pop ups and private events- along with spending time immersed in nature, hanging out with her soul pup, Felix, infinite amounts of self care and taking the aura camera out of state for several exciting new partnerships.
