This week with astrology & aura, we begin on a whimsical note shifting from reflection into action.

This week's transits:

Aug. 12: Mars ingresses into Cancer

Aug. 12: New Moon in Leo (Solar Total Eclipse) — the first eclipse of this eclipse season

Aug. 16: Mercury conjunct Jupiter at 10° Leo

This is a powerful week of beginnings.

On August 12, Mars moves from Taurus into Cancer, shifting our motivation from the grounded movements into the action that we learned was needed after this Mercury retrograde season. The universe is always on our side, taking action is our opportunity to move forward on all the things we learned during the last couple months of mercury retrograde in Cancer. We all may feel more protective of what we love, more connected to home & family, more aware of what truly nourishes our emotional well-being.

That same day, we will experience a New Moon in Leo & the first Solar Total Eclipse of this eclipse season.

Eclipses accelerate change. They just do. They often bring turning points, revelations, endings, & beginnings that move us toward a path we may not have chosen consciously but that our soul is ready to walk.

In Leo, this eclipse asks one central question:

Will you allow your light to shine? Where are you not trusting your heart?

The courage to shine is not about becoming someone new. It is about releasing the fears that have kept you from expressing who you have always been.

Then on August 16, Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in Leo, expanding our voice, our vision, & our confidence.

This is a beautiful transit for sharing ideas, teaching, creating, speaking, writing, dreaming bigger, & trusting that your voice has value. Jupiter magnifies whatever Mercury touches, making this an excellent week to communicate from the heart.

Aura-wise, this week feels radiant.

Brilliant gold, sunflower yellow, coral, ruby, all bright & illuminating the field. The heart chakra may feel especially activated as many people are being tested & stepping into greater confidence, creativity, & authentic self-expression.

Questions for reflection:

• Where have I been dimming my light to make others comfortable?
• What wants to be created through me right now?
• If I fully trusted my voice, what would I say?
• What new chapter is this eclipse inviting me to begin?
