August just keeps rolling with the theme brought to us by the Leo season that started in July!
And the main question that we are energetically being shoved towards in many different areas of our lives, this depends on which house of your chart is housing LEO, so go look to see where Leo is in your chart to understand where you are being asked…
Are you ready to be seen?
This month carries a powerful current around visibility, authenticity, courage, & allowing yourself to fully inhabit the life you are here to live. The greater the light you are here to step into the greater the tests that will come your way. We live on a polarity planet, this is a law of the universe.
This week's transits:
Aug. 1–14: Jupiter and the Sun travel within
a 10° orb of one another.
Aug. 4: Chiron stations retrograde at 0° Taurus.
Aug. 7: Mercury moves out of its shadow period.
Aug. 7: Venus ingresses into Libra.
Aug. 10: Mercury ingresses into Leo.
From August 1–14, Jupiter & the Sun travel closely together, amplifying themes of confidence, expansion, leadership, & you guessed it… visibility. This combination shines a spotlight on where life is asking us to step forward instead of shrinking back.
August 4th Chiron stations retrograde in Taurus, this is a long transit so buckle up we are just getting started. You may notice an invitation inward to revisit your relationship with self-worth, stability, the body, and what truly makes you feel safe. Sometimes the greatest obstacle to being seen isn't the world around us, it's the story we've been telling ourselves about our own value.
On August 7, Mercury finally moves beyond its shadow period.
After an emotionally rich Mercury retrograde through Cancer, many of us may feel like we've revisited old memories, old emotions, & old patterns we thought we had already worked through. There can be a sense of relief now, as if the emotional clarity is finally surfacing & forward movement becomes possible again.
Also on August 7, Venus returns home to her sign of Libra.
This is a beautiful week to refresh your surroundings, reconnect with beauty, invest in self-care, or simply ask yourself what truly brings harmony into your life. Venus in Libra reminds us that beauty is not superficial, it is required nourishment for the soul.
Then on August 10, Mercury enters Leo.
The conversation shifts.
Leo asks us to use our voice with courage, to create more boldly, and to stop allowing fear to keep us hidden. Thoughts can become more heart-centered, expressive, and creative.
This is also our first full week with the North Node in Aquarius & South Node in Leo.
Can you already feel the shift?
The collective invitation is changing. What once emphasized surrender and releasing control is now asking us to explore new ways of contributing to the collective while expressing our most authentic heart-led selves.
Aura-wise, this week likely feels radiant.
Gold, amber, rose, vibey blue, & soft emerald weave together throughout the field. Many people may notice their aura feeling brighter, more expansive, yet also... possibly still tender as end of cancer retrograde brought up lots of old insecurities, but to be loved instead of shamed.
Questions for reflection:
• Where are the places I am still hiding my light?
• What fear keeps me from being fully seen?
• What version of myself is asking for permission to emerge?
• If I truly trusted my own worth, how would I show up differently?
