Hello Ignite your Aura community,

October begins with some of the  m o s t  intense & transformative energy of the month, maybe even the year!

There is a lot happening in Scorpio, Leo, Libra, & Aquarius, bringing themes of power, desire, relationship, communication, & transformation. 

We are ALL being asked to become more honest about what we want, what we are ready to release, & where we are holding ourselves back from fully stepping into our empowerment.

This week's transits:

• Oct. 2: Mercury in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo at 2° & Pluto in Aquarius at 3°

• Oct. 3: Mars enters Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius

• Oct. 3: Venus stations retrograde at 8° Scorpio

• Oct. 4: Mercury enters its shadow period before retrograde on Oct. 24

• Oct. 4: Sun in Libra opposes Saturn at 11°

• Oct. 7: Mercury conjunct Venus at 8° Scorpio

• Oct. 10: New Moon in Libra

• Oct. 10: Venus retrograde in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo @ 7°

October opens with Mercury in Scorpio squaring both Mars & Pluto, immediately turning up the intensity around communication, desire, power, & the things we may prefer to keep buried beneath the surface.

Scorpio doesn't do surface-level. It just doesn't. It does petty & vengeful but not surface.

This is a week where conversations can reveal more than we intended, emotions may move quickly, & we may become acutely aware of where power dynamics are playing out in our relationships & how they are a mirror within ourselves. 

Before reacting, the invite is to PAUSE & ask: What is actually underneath this?

On October 3, Mars in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, creating another layer of tension between individual & collective. I like this opposition for us though, it feels important for an energetic pop to occur.

Mars in Leo desires to act from the heart. It wants to create, express, lead, & be seen. Pluto in Aquarius asks us to transform our relationship within to individuate & approach the world around us differently. 

This can bring a powerful awareness of where we are trying to control an outcome, or where we are being asked to reclaim our personal power.

What is really wild about October 3rd energy is that same day, Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio.

Venus retrograde asks us to reconsider our relationship to what we value, desires, & what we truly want to invest our energy into. 

In Scorpio, this process becomes even more intimate. Old relationship patterns, attachments, desires, & unresolved emotional material will for sure come back into our awareness.

This isn't about going backward.

This is truly about seeing more clearly.

On October 4, Mercury enters its shadow period ahead of its October 24 retrograde, while the Sun in Libra opposes Saturn.

Wr are being asked to evolve & become more aware of the commitments, boundaries, relationship dynamics, & the places where we need to take greater accountability for our choices. Saturn asks us to build relationships that can actually hold the truth of who we are.

Mercury meets Venus in Scorpio on October 7, creating a beautiful opportunity to use your voice around what really matters.

This can be a powerful time for honest conversations about love, intimacy, values, & desire. Words can become a doorway into deeper connection when we are willing to be vulnerable rather than perform what we think someone else wants to hear.

On October 10, we arrive at a New Moon in Libra.

After so much intensity, I feel that this New Moon will offer an opportunity to sew new seeds of consciousness around relationship, harmony, balance, beauty, & reciprocity.

And what does true balance actually look like for you?

The week closes with Venus retrograde in Scorpio squaring Mars in Leo, bringing desire & relationship dynamics into sharper focus.

This may feel like a tension between what the heart wants & what feels safe to the body. Take this as an invitation to become radically honest with yourself rather than rushing to resolve any discomfort.

Clarity often arrives when we stop trying to make the tension disappear.

Aura

This week's aura is deep, magnetic, & highly transformative.

Burgundy, deep plum, indigo, & violet may become especially prominent as Venus & Mercury move through Scorpio, reflecting emotional depth, intimacy, shadow work, & the willingness to see what exists beneath the surface.

At the same time, gold, ruby red, & fiery orange connect with Mars in Leo, bringing courage, creative life force, visibility, & the desire to express ourselves fully. Especially after the long watery journey through Cancer it has recently finished up.

With Pluto involved, you may also notice neon green or other-worldy blue moving through the field. These colors can reflect transformation, energetic reclamation, & the breaking open of old patterns that have kept us operating from fear or control.

The Libra New Moon graces us in softer tones of rose pink, emerald green, & pale blue, reminding us that transformation does not have to happen through force, but through allowing GRACE.

This week's aura asks us to hold both the fire of desire & the depth of truth.

• Where am I trying to control an outcome instead of trusting myself?

• What relationship patterns am I ready to see differently?

• What do I truly desire when I remove fear, expectation, and obligation?
